What? Ace Hotel is not so much an hotel as it is a creative hub full of different hotspots to discover. There is the hotel all right, but also the Gallery Bar (do not confuse with This Gallery), the Hoi Polloi restaurant, club Miranda in the basement, a co-working space with wifi and great coffee and a flower shop. The American concept of Ace is not only to intrude a neighbourhood with a new hotel, but to give something back to community. So even when you are not staying in the hotel, Ace will welcome you with open arms.
Looks? Both the inside and outside of the Ace Hotel are designed by Universal Design Studio, the studio of Britain’s olympic torch designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. The rooms are very contemporary and covered with the softest Kvadrat fabrics. I especially love the bathrooms in black and white tiling.
What else? Some of the rooms offer a guitar or a turntable to use during your stay. The ideal place to figure out whether you have rockstar or DJ potential.
Info? Prices starting from 150 pounds per night
