Looks? Borough Market has a very cosy feel to it, although on Friday and Saturday it can get a bit too crowdy. There is always a crowd at the Monmouth Coffee Bar close to Borough Market. Even after 35 years, the Monmouth Coffee Company is known for serving London’s best cup of coffee.
What else? Don’t get persuaded by bold statements about dishes winning awards. In London even the best pickle can get a price. So just depend on your own nose and tastebuds. They will hardly let you down.
