What? No better place to experience a true celebrity-status than at Sexy Fish, a restaurant to see and be seen. Not only the interior design is sexy, the people and dishes both look amazing too. Luckily the food turns out to be very tasty, thanks to British chef Ben Orpwood who previously worked at the amazing Zuma restaurant in Knightsbridge. What to expect at Sexy Fish? Well, fish of course, in different Asian inspired ways. But oddly enough Sexy Fish can also please devoted carnivores with some sexy meat.
Looks? However great the food may be, the Sexy Fish showstopper indisputably is the decor designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. You can eat your fishies here amongst Damien Hirst mermaid sculptures and Frank Gehry fish lamps and even a crocodile. The floor consists of a rare green onyx and the colourful ceiling was designed by Vanity Fair’s editor-at-large Michael Roberts. The word glamour was invented for places like this.
What else? A dazzling 15 million pounds was invested in making this fish place sexy. That has to pay off. So prices are not quite convincing to pop by every day for lunch. That would be tricky anyway, because making a reservation is highly recommended. And who knows? Maybe you will bump into the sexy likes of Kate Moss, Ben Stiller or the Beckham family.
